Since 1996
Haalah dogs have dominated the lure coursing field in
the US. They have been in the top twenty consistently.
Gabriel is within 20 points of his LCM 5 and Fawny is
an LCM 2. I have to contact Tom about Dius' record to
find out how many Cups he has brought home. Dius is
currently an LCM 3, I believe with many many Best In
Fields.
During Haazim's coursing career he
had many Best In Fields over some of the top running
whippets, greyhounds and other sighthound breeds.
Gabriel has taken 4 Best In Fields running against top
ranked sighthounds and Drucilla has 1 Best In Field.
Gabriel, Haazim and Drucilla have all taken the Vernon
Dill Challenge Cup and Drucilla won the Dixie Cup and
Haazim won the Haseeb Cup at the I996 International
Invitational where he won Best of Breed in both days
of competition. I pulled him for the Best In Event due
to not risking him interfering with barking Pharaohs,
only to learn they had been debarked.
Haazim was the top running saluki
in Region 7 for three years in a row and Gabriel has
been the number 1 saluki in Region 7, 1998 through
2001.
These records do not include
the outstanding coursing career of Haalah Aeolian
Sophia which was the Tara Cup Winner 3 years in a row
in Canada and the top coursing saluki for 3
consecutive years. I am currently checking this record
as I
should be aware of the outstanding performance she
gave on the field as well.
